É com grande alegria e satisfação que anunciamos a todos os fãs de snooker portugueses que finalmente vamos ter um torneio profissional em Portugal. A Grande Final da World Series of Snooker será disputada no Algarve, mais propriamente em Portimão, depois da final do Campeonato do Mundo, entre 8 e 10 de Maio. Depois de alguns imprevistos com a organização russa, este grande evento terá lugar no nosso país e teremos a oportunidade de assistir a snooker de grande qualidade exibido por jogadores como John Higgins (2 vezes campeão do mundo), Stephen Maguire, Graeme Dott (1 vez campeão mundial), Mark Selby, Ding Junhui, Shaun Murphy (1 vez campeão mundial), Ken Doherty (1 vez campeão mundial) e Steve Davis (6 vezes campeão mundial). Grandes estrelas que vão estar presentes em Portugal e que aguardam uma grande audiência durante o evento. É por isso que temos que estar presentes para demonstrar que a popularidade do snooker está a aumentar a uma grande velocidade no nosso país, o que possibilitará mais torneios no futuro. It's great news to have snooker in mainland Europe with so many good players. Where can we find more information? I guess some Spanish fans would like to go to this event in such a precious location.

It's great news for Portugal and also for Spain. Finally we will have the oportunity to watch live snooker. At the moment don't exist more information. Pat and Higgins will be out at the official press launch in the 13th March, so then we will have more information...
I'll be waiting for an update of this information (13-14th March) so as to communicate to other Spanish fans. Do you think there will be tickets available or they'll be sold out?

Paul Hunter was in Portugal a few years ago, but this will be the first time that a professional tournament will be held in Portugal ;)
e como vão ser distribuídos os wild cards? vão jogar portugueses? como não existe competição oficial em portugal vai ser complicado (eventualmente) arranjar jogadores...
Os jogadores convidados serão de vários países... Não sabemos se haverá algum português...
